Form Us With Love is the international design studio founded in 2005. Since its conception, the studio has burned with a passion for design and its democratic potential. Its belief is that we all have a right to meaningful design. At the studio’s core lies a process that blends traditional creative practices with a lean, strategic application. The central intention is to evolve with the needs of each project, its place in the market and the ever-changing needs of real people. The work of Form Us With Love falls into three areas: Consultancy—an engagement in products, ranges, collaborations and spaces for clients around the world, Ventures—disciplined and holistic approaches to launch and build brands, Civic—based on knowledge transfers and sharing of experiences, actively contributing to the broader spectra of design.

After finishing the University of Kalmar, Jonas Pettersson, John Lofgen and Petrus Palmer decided to initiate their own Swedish design company. They develop objects for leading design companies producing furniture and lighting, which is their main object of focus. They worked for the Design House Stockholm, Designgalleriet, Muuto, Nordic Hotels, Philips, Voice/Lammhults, Westal, Zero… In the same time, the FUWL studio doubles as showroom which hosted many high quality exhibitions in Sweden, besides being the atelier where the designers create. Today this young designers successfully master the impediments and reach their goals, one by one, while not lacking new plans. They won the Red Dot design Award 2007, the IF Communication Design Award 2010, the Swedish Elle Decoration Award – Young designer of the year 2011, among others.

During the 10 year history of Normann Copenhagen, we have learned that passion for design and architecture is strongly connected to people and not places. Coming from a part of the world where DESIGN is almost part of your DNA and every household has a selection of Design Classics, does not guarantee that passion is found.   When coming to Belgrade for the BDW 2009 we found a dedication and passion at the highest level. We can only be jealous that such events, created with passion and real interest to push the viewers and visitors to the next level are not more commonly found in Denmark. That again is a tribute to the great efforts found behind BDW and we hope to be part of your events in the years to come.
